My Fun Weekend in Washington

This past weekend I had the opportunity to fly up to Washington to visit my friends, see the movie Twilight and go to New Kids on the Block in concert! I visited my good friend Jenn and stayed with her. I got to Washington on thursday night just in time for Olive Garden and the midnight showing of Twilight! Of course, it wasn't as good as the books, but it was fun to go see with my girlfriends! Edward did have to grow on me a little bit, but Bella played a good part. I enjoyed it a lot and only stayed stayed up until 3 in the morning that night. On Saturday afternoon Jenn, Wendy and I drove up to Tacoma to the Tacoma Dome to see New Kids on the Block! For sure the highlight of the weekend! We had so much fun! We went to subway for dinner before the concert, got our "merchandise",(our new kids key chains and programs) and found our seats. We had pretty good seats and the people around us were pretty funny, especially the two girls who were a few rows in front of us wearing nothing but 80's attire! It was so funny! I have never seen so many people with their hair crimped! I also enjoyed the girl with the New Kids Dolls they came out with when we were kids. She brought hers to the concert and waved them in the air during the show. Natasha Beddingfield opened the show, well actually Lady Gaga was the first act but I'd like to forget that part! Her outfit was awful and her singing was all that good either. I only recognized one of Lady Gaga's songs,"Let's Dance". Anyway, Natasha was amazing, I swear she should have her own show! I really enjoyed her! But of course, the highlight of the night was New Kids! They put on such a great show! They sang just about all of the old classics along with their new songs. They danced and moved all over the stage! Actually at one point they had a round stage they got onto in the middle of the Dome! It was for sure a night that I will not forget! Jenn, Wendy and I danced and sang along all night! Enjoy the video I have posted thanks to Jenn and her great camera! Thanks Jenn for a weekend to remember!!!

DISNEY WORLD 2008!!!

In July our family was lucky enough to be able to go to Walt Disney World in Florida. We went from July 17th to the 24th. It is a memory that I will never forget! The girls were amazing just about the whole time! We went to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Blizzard Beach(a water park in Disney World). Going to Florida in July, we knew that it was going to be hot but we didn't imagine it to be as bad as it was. It was soo hot and the humidity was awful! But do you think that stopped us from having the most amazing vacation ever? No way! Our four girls were the most amazing children that week! They never complained about the heat and they didn't ask for random toys.(We told them that we would get something special for them when we were done) They waited patiently until Mommy took the three older girls shopping! So fun!
We got to meet every character that we wanted to, we only had to wait for an hour to see Ariel! It was worth it to watch our childrens faces! We met Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Jasmine and Alladin, Pocahontas, Jimminy Cricket, Rafiki, Baloo and King Louie, Koda,Price Caspian, JoJO and Goliath and of course Mickey and Minnie Mouse! We went on all the rides multiple times(cause Rodger figured out a way to trick the system)! We stayed up late and then got up early! It really was one of the funnest things that I have ever done with my family! Something I will remember forever! Maybe we'll be able to go back some day!

Here we are with Mickey Mouse! It was the best!

We got to go to Disney on ice on October 29th in Sacramento!

We had a lot of fun with the girls! We got to see most of the princess's, Toy Story, Alladin, It's a Small World and of course Mickey and Minnie Mouse! The girls had so much fun, Macey couldn't look away just about the whole time. Abby was super excited to see Beauty and the Beast and Sophia just enjoyed the whole thing. I didn't hear from her the whole show, so that tells me she enjoyed it. Molly was great for most of it, but Rodger had to take her out and walk with her a little bit. But she enjoyed the lights and fireworks. Rodger and I enjoyed just watching the girls! It's so much fun to be parents!

Here are the girls on Halloween! They had so much fun trick or treating. We had two trunk or treats leading up to Halloween night. One was at Sophia's school, Cordelia Hills Elementary and one was at our church! Halloween was a week long event this year, and the girls loved every minute of it. But by the time halloween night came they were kindof done with it so I made them get dressed up and took pictures and them we went out for about 45 minutes and they were done! I think they enjoyed giving out the candy more then getting it! They had till today to eat as much candy as possible and when we came home from church they threw the rest in the garbage! Such good girls, not even one tear during the throwing away of their candy. They know it's not good for them anyway!
We are glad that Halloween is over and that the Holidays are coming! My favorite time of the year!
