Purple Is My Favorite Color

Sooo, I went to Costco this afternoon when I got a call from my sweet husband. He was laughing so hard that I couldn't hear him! Also, Costco was crazy busy and I had 5 girls with me! But finally he said,"Did you put Molly to bed with a purple pen"? Of course I hadn't! He told me that somehow she found one and colored herself head to toe with it! I told him I would be home in a while, don't give her a bath yet(cause I wanted to see it!), and take some pictures! This is what I found when I got home, thank goodness it was a washable marker and came off pretty easy in the bath!

Molly decided since she was covered in purple marker that her Jesse doll should be too! Luckily, that came out pretty easy too!

We finally found out how Molly had gotten a hold of the marker! Macey had left a bag of what I like to call "Nonsense Toys" near her crib and she just happened to leave it just close enough that Molly reached between the crib posts and grabbed it out of the bag! Sneaky little thing! Even though she is such a mess, she couldn't be any cuter! Thank heavens for washable markers!

Abbys Piano Recital

Last week Abby had a piano recital. She did such a great job! I love that she is learning and growing so much! I love to hear her practice and fill our home with beautiful music! She is so great and I'm just so proud of her! She really enjoys playing and I think that is key when they are this age. I rarely have to get on her about practicing, so that makes it a lot easier to continue with lessons! Way to go Abby! Keep up the great work! I LOVE YOU Abby concentrating so hard to get her piece just right!(which she did!)
This is the whole group of children that Abby's teacher teaches! Her name is Judy Genter and she does a great job! Thanks Judy for all of your hard work!
I am grateful that Abby enjoy's learning the piano! I hope we have many more years to come!Bring on the recitals!

Beautiful Mess

On Saturday we did the traditional coloring of our easter eggs. It was fun and I think the girls enjoyed it! Do you ever feel like you work up to something and get it all perpared and then it's over in a flash? This is kindof how I felt this activity went! But that's OK! Who wants to color eggs all day anyway! We made a mess, but the smile on my childrens faces were BEAUTIFUL! The cutest girls ever!!!
Molly wanted to eat the eggs while still in it's shell!
We talked her out of it!

My sweet Macey

I love this picture of Sophia, including the mess in the backround!

My dear sweet Abby

Hunting for Eggs

Just a few photos of the girls finding their easter eggs that the easter bunny left! 95 eggs, what was the easter bunny thinking? Seriously!
Thanks Easter Bunny!
The girls found some little slugs on their eggs. Sophia getting rid of one of those, quick! It was funny to watch how extremely grossed out they were with them! I love these girls!

Abby and Macey finding some eggs! Abby is such a great help with her little sisters, I seriously could not ask for anything more!

The older girls were hunting for eggs, but Molly was hunting for candy! Oh yea, she found some!

Easter in Full Swing

Boy do we love Easter around here! I heard their footsteps upstairs around 6:30, is that too early for anyone else or am I the only one? The three older girls had a "sleepover" in Sophias room in preparation for easter morning! They all had made their own little beds on her floor and did pretty good. They didn't keep eachother up for too long! So when I knew they were awake, I went upstairs and this is what I found! 3 very excited girls ready to run down the stairs to see what the easter bunny brought and 1 very sleepy, sweet, yummy girl NOT ready for this easter bunny thing! I ended up waking her up because the other girls were not about to wait! Molly did ok once she realized that candy was involved!

Our easter bunny doesn't come in our house, he just leaves the baskets on the back porch. He also hides plastic eggs filled with candy all over the yard! The girls were really excited about finding all the candy, and they sure found it! I think the easter bunny filled about 95 eggs! Seriously, I know he went a little overboard, but oh well! The girls got bubble wands, coloring books and new crayons(new crayons are the BEST!) And oh yea, more candy! They also got a few other things but of course, the candy was the favorite. In our house around any holiday that includes a ton of candy, my girls get 3 days to eat it and then it is gone! I love our rule and they do pretty well getting down what candy they want! Although the withdrawls they go through can be hard, but I'll take that over having it around for months and the girls asking for it on a daily basis!

After the 7 oclock easter celebration, we still had to get ready for 9 oclock church. Rodg had to leave at 7:45 to help setup chairs, and we had to be there by 8:30 to practice with the choir before church started, so I was on my own this morning getting us all out the door! I think it went pretty good! The girls were really good about leaving easter baskets where they were and getting up and ready for church. This is a picture I took just before we walked out the door for church, I think they look beautiful!

After church the girls took their bubble wands out back. They were having such a blast! Except for the part when Macey would go to catch a bubble and spill her bubbles out of the wand. Doesn't every kid do that at some point? No, she actually did really good and did not have a melt down(even though she was totally on a sugar high!) We had our easter dinner out in the back yard on our patio furniture(thanks Toni!) and the girls really loved it!It really was a beautiful day and I know the girls had a great easter!

Molly At Her Best

Ok, so Molly learned how to say "Cheese" and I just can't get enough of it! She is just so dang cute and she poses so well for me! Just thought I would share a few photos that I just cannot resist! How can you not just smile when you see this?

Graham crackers and chocolate frosting, Big mess and I swear all my kids were crazy that day! Sugar high!

Molly in her dress up! This was Abbys head piece for dance a few years back. I love that we can make old costumes into dress up, so fun!

Molly is such a fun child to have! I love all of my kids but somehow I am really enjoying my time with Molly right now. I think it is the age! Give me another year and I might be pulling my hair out! But right now I am having a blast! It is so interesting to me that I can have 4 kids that are all girls and they have such different personalities! It is fun to watch them grow into these little people! I LOVE being a mom!
Anyway, just wanted to share a few pics, enjoy!

A Day At The Park

Today was beautiful and warm. We took the girls to the ball field this morning, but later on after nap time we decided to take the girls to the park. They had a ton of fun and I just wanted to share a few photos! Molly going down the slide! She can do it by herself!

Macey on the twisty slide!

Sorry about Sophias sideways picture! I can't figure out how to turn it around, but I really enjoy this picture! Make sure you go see your chiropractor later!

Abby and Mom

Abby and Dad(I LOVE this one!)

I love being with my sweet family! How lucky I am to have them in my life!

Softball Season is Here!

So, softball has begun! Today was opening ceremonies at a local high school here in town. They have good fields, so this is where we play all of our games. We signed Abby and Sophia up this year and decided to wait one more year to sign Macey up. No hurry! When I got the game schedules I knew I would be a busy mom! Abby's games are on Mondays and Wednesdays and Sophia's games are on Tuesdays and Thursdays! This does not include practices! They don't have a game everyone of these days, but just about! There are a few weeks where I will find myself at the ball field Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday! What was I thinking? But seeing their smiling faces makes it all worth it! What am I going to do next year when we have 3 girls in softball! Maybe I will just have a tent in the outfield and we will just live there for the season! No, I am excited for them! I know this is going to be a great season for them! Abby and Sophia opening day!
Sophia in her darling uniform!!!

My Abby in her darling uniform!!

Macey on the field, I was really glad that she wasn't sad about not playing this year! She has her purse full of toys and her breakfast, what could make a girl happier?

Molly in the hair bow I made her! She left it in for about half the time, so I was pretty happy about that! I made hair bows for Abby and Sophia to match their team colors and I had extra ribbon!(I love it when that happens!) So I made Macey and Molly bows with both of their big sisters team colors! The colors(purple, orange, black, white)remind me a little of Halloween but I still think they turned out cute!

We all had a fun day at the ball fields, PLAY BALL!!!!!!!

Macey & Molly

Oh my gosh, could they be any cuter? Seriously, I love my girls! These pictures were taken a few days ago while my older 2 girls were at school. It was a beautiful day and so I took the girls out back to bask in the sunshine! We had a lot of fun together and they were so ready for the camera, it was great! I love it when they love taking pictures! Molly has learned to say "Cheese!" and as soon as I take her picture she wants to see herself in my camera! When she gets to see herself she says "Ohhhh"! So stinkin cute! Even Macey was up for the photo op! Yea!!! I LOVE this picture!
Molly saying "Cheese"! Doesn't she look so big here? Crazy, time goes by too fast!

Macey giving Molly a big smooch!

Macey doing some coloring on the dry erase board! So cute, check out her pink cowgirl boots!
I am very grateful for the beautiful weather we have been having. It has been so much fun to open my back door and all my windows and feel the sun shining in! How grateful I am for Spring!

My California Home

So I know I havn't posted any pictures of our home down here in Cali, so I thought I would take a moment and share! (For all of our family back up in Washington!) Here is the front of our house on a nice sunny afternoon!
This is our family room(please don't mind the mess! I just wanted to get these pictures taken!)

Our living room

Our kitchen with Macey running through it!

The backyard. When we first moved in my girls said it looked like Hawaii because of the palm trees!

So just a little short post so that you all can see where we have been living for the past few months. We are lucky and feel very blessed for everything in our lives!
