WICKED!!!!

Ok, so anyone who hasn't seen Wicked, should really try to go see it! It is Wonderful!!! Last night I had the chance with some friends to go into San Francisco to see it. I think when we got the whole group together the total was 16 people! Wow! My good friend Kelly put the whole thing together. She let us know last September that it was coming and she put a group together that wanted to go. She bought the tickets and did us all a huge favor! She is great! I enjoyed the show so much! What a great story they told! The time went by way too fast! The show started at 8 and we didn't leave until 10:50! It did not even for a second feel like we were there for almost 3 hours! I guess that is proof that it is a great show! This is the whole group just outside the theater! Wow, what a great looking group of women!!
This is the front of the theater when we left. I was so sad to leave! I guess it just means I'll have to go back some day!

This is the group at the BART. Bay Area Rapid Transit Station. It was fun, and we all had a great time! We decided to take this instead of driving into San Francisco. I had never done this before, but it was neat. The bart actually travels under the water in the bay! No, you can't see fish but it was still cool to think that we were actually under the water at some point! Fun!

Kelly and I at dinner at PF Changs

This is the whole group at dinner, well almost! You can't see everyone, sorry girls!

I do have to say at this exact moment I am listening to the soundtrack to Wicked because I may be having withdrawls! I enjoyed it so much that I am sad that it came and went so fast! Although I am excited to take my girls next time! They would love it!
Thank you so much Kelly for putting this altogether! It was such a fun night and one that I won't soon forget! Especially the Jack in the box dive thru at 12:30am with the runny oreo shakes! By the way, I did not get sick, so I don't think they put anything gross in our 2nd shakes! Yea!

What a Way to End the Day

So today was pretty crazy for me! It started off bright and early when I had to take Abby to Activity Days (activities at church for 8-11yr old girls) at 9. Ok, so I guess thats not really that early, but to wake up and get 4 kids ready, breakfast down them, and in the car by 8:45, well thats not too easy for me! Then I had to go to an Enrichment Meeting from 9-11, which was great! Then I had to come home and take a shower, remember how bad I am at getting my children up? Yea, hadn't taken a shower yet! I tried to clean my house but failed! Oh well, maybe next time! Then I had to go drop Sophia off at a friends house for a play date, go pick Abby up from Activity Days and take 3 extra girls home, drop Abby off at piano, go to Sophias parent/teacher conference, go pick Abby back up, go get gas, go pick up Sophia, go to the Chiropracter, take Sophia to softball practice and finally back home! Yes, all of this happened just today! I was thankful that Rodger let me leave the two little ones home with him while I took Sophia to softball practice with Abby. Soooo, when I finally got home tonight this is what I saw. Molly was already asleep(she didn't get a chance to take a nap) and I was grateful for that! But my sweet Macey was sound asleep on the couch! Oh, how I love those moments! If any of you really know me, you know that I don't get a lot of moments like this with my sweet Macey. I cherish moments where they just melt your heart. Tonight was one of those moments. Thank you Heavenly Father.

Abbys Choir Festival

On the 25th of March, Abby had a choir performance at the High School near by. The High School sponsered it and they did a really great job! Almost all of the Elementary schools in the district were there. They all learned the same songs, so when they got together yesterday they all knew the same songs! It really was beautiful to listen to the childrens beautiful voices! My husband thinks there were probably about 100 elementary children there! It was awesome! I swear I'm such a baby at these things. I always want to cry when I see my babies so grown up! I had to drop her off at 4 so she could rehearse with all of the children and the performance wasn't until 7! Oh how I missed my sweet girl! But she was safe and the performance went really well, I loved it!
My little ones were great too, I did bribe with lollypops(my children love them! Even the baby!) but all in all I can't complain! I am one lucky lady! Thanks Abby for a great night! Love ya girl!

My Girls

Abby was looking at my blog this morning and saw that I only had a few pictures of her on it, so I decided to put a few pictures of all of my girls! The 4 sisters!!! This is Abby, 9 going on 20! She is a big help to me and her sisters. She plays softball and the piano. She is in the Festival Choir at her school and is loving it! She does very well in school and on her last report card she got all A's and B's! She is really a joy to have in our family and she is growing up too fast!
This is Sophia! She also plays softball and LOVES to dance! I really need to get her into a hip hop dance class. When we turn the music on at home she just gets into it! She is doing an amazing job in school. When we first moved down to California last year, she was pretty far behind. But she has amazed everyone and is at grade level and always tries to improve. I admire her for that! I am so glad that Sophia chose us to be her parents, what a joy!

This is Macey, she is 4 and what a firecracker! Everyone has one in their family, right?! Macey is a great little girl! She loves to play at the park and play with her friends! She just finished pre-school and she did a great job! She will be going to kindergarten in the fall and I am excited for her. I know she is just going to love it! She is a special girl and I am so glad that she is here with us! My life would be boring without her!

Molly is our youngest daughter, she is 1! What a complete joy she is to have around! She has finally started walking(14 and ahalf months old!) She makes me smile everyday! She knows who her sisters are and I love that. She knows how to go up and down the stairs like a pro(which is so great for me)!She only eats 23 out of the 24 hours in a day, just kidding! But seriously, she eats more than any of our children! It gives her that yummy look! She is truly a blessing to have around!

So there you have it! A little bit about my kids right now. I love them more then anything and I am so thankful that I get to be their mom! Thanks girls!

Sophia turns 7!!!!

I can't believe she is already 7! What a great day she had. She started off with breakfast in bed(which all of my children look forward to when its their birthday!) I made cinnamon rolls for her and she loved them! I could hear her upstairs already awake before breakfast was ready, but she didn't get out of her bed till breakfast arrived! She has always been my early riser. She got to open a few gifts from family and then had to wait till 2pm for her party to begin. That was the longest few hours for her! I think she only asked me 20 or 25 times when her party was going to start! Finally at 2 the party began! All of her friends from church and school came to celebrate with her! She had a princess jumpy house(thanks to some awesome friends! Thank you!), we frosted sugar cookies and played a few other games.

The jumpy house was the hit of the party! I probably could have done nothing else, and the kids would have had fun!

Long awaited breakfast in bed!!!!
Sophia,
I just wanted to take a minute and tell you how much I love you! You are so wonderful and we are lucky that you picked this family to come to! You have done so well this year in school and it has been fun to watch you grow. You are such a free spirit and I hope that you will always strive to be better and do better. Always stay true to who you are and remember that Mom and Dad love you as well as your sisters. But also, Heavenly Father loves you and is so very proud of the wonderful girl that you are!
Love,
Mom

My Sweet Molly Girl

Just wanted to share a little piece of heaven for me!! My sweet Molly loves to get up on the table and eats whatever she can find! She is now big enough to climb up on a chair by herself and then climb up onto the table. I swear she thinks shes a big kid. I tell the older girls that they can't leave anything on the table unless they want Molly to eat it(including non-food items)! They are learning slowly! What a blessing she is to have in our home. When we found out we were having our 4th girl we were a little surprised that it wasn't going to be a boy, but I have to say I don't know what I would do without her in my life! She makes me smile allday, everyday! She says "Ma" about 100 times a day! It never gets old! She has become my little shadow and she follows me all around the house, I think she might even love me more than daddy! Our whole family is blessed! I am so lucky to be the mom of 4 beautiful girls! Molly enjoying herself!

FEELING VERY GRATEFUL

Ok, so I know I havn't given any updates for a few months! But I seem to enjoy reading other blogs then to work on mine! Sometimes I feel like a blog stalker, but I feel like I am learning so much about the strength of others, how can I not read them? I just wanted to take a second and say how very grateful I am to be able to be a wife and mother. I am so lucky to be able to wake up every morning and make breakfast, drive the girls to school in my pjs and come home to my other 2 girls and take care of the little ones! How grateful I am to be able to wipe runny noses, change poopy diapers and clean vomit from their beds! I am grateful for my husband and the fact that I know he adores me, even on my worst days! I am just very grateful! Even when times seem so crazy, like now, I feel grounded and know that everything will work out in time. Love your kids and know that time goes by too fast! This is a quote from the movie Kung Fu Panda(we love that movie here!)"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. Thats why they call it The Present". I know it's kinda silly, but I like it!
